¶ RED of all shades was the order of the day at Amaroo Primary School last week.
Students arrived to school in red shirts, dresses, hats, and even capes and facepaint, along with a variety of accessories to mark Red Care Day.
Red care is one of Amaroo’s four CARS pillars of student behaviour expectations.
The others are blue achieve, green respect and yellow safe.
Each pillar focuses on a set of standards, designed to teach students positive behaviours and to make positive choices.
Red care encourages being kind and considerate, including cooperation and inclusiveness.
Amaroo celebrates one colour a term.
