¶ REELECTED Collie-Preston MLA Jodie Hanns has been appointed parliamentary secretary to Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson.
Premier Roger Cook announced portfolio allocations for the new State Government on Tuesday, including the appointment of Ms Sanderson to the Energy and Decarbonisation, Manufacturing, Skills and TAFE, and Pilbara portfolios.
Mrs Hanns previously served as parliamentary secretary to premier Mark McGowan.
She was subsequently moved to the role of parliamentary secretary for Emergency Services Minister Stephen Dawson in 2023 after Mr McGowan stepped down.
Newly created portfolios to be overseen by Mr Cook’s cabinet include the Health Infrastructure, Preventative Health, and Aged Care and Seniors portfolios, and there will be a dedicated minister for each region.
Bunbury MLA Don Punch has been appointed South West Minister.
