Speed limit attention needed

¶ MORE needs to be done to ensure the speed limit of 40 kilometres an hour in Throssell Street is observed.
It would be good to bring back the electronic board showing a vehicle’s speed.
I’m sure many agree trying to cross from the Ampol service station to the street’s footpath is very challenging these days.
This is also the case with Forrest Street, which has become very busy.
Let’s be proactive for ourselves and visitors to our town.
On another note, we drove past Glen Mervyn Dam recently and it is looking very empty.
What will happen to all the crustaceans if it runs dry?
Will they be transferred or perish?
I think we need to start to look at how we use water and what we grow, along with the use of mulch to help retain moisture in our gardens.
It would be good to get council’s thoughts on the future of our gardens and fields.
I don’t think these rainless months are a one-off.
This could be the future, couldn’t it?
