¶ A POLICE investigation into a crash which resulted in a vehicle plunging into the Collie River remains ongoing.
The incident happened on December 26 at around 11.25am.
A grey Hyundai Tucson station sedan travelling in the Collie-Preston Road north-bound lane collided with a guard rail on Schultz Bridge and continued through the railing into the river.
A 63-year-old man was recovered from the water by members of the public and conveyed by ambulance to Collie Hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
