Live music a draw for young adults
1 min read

YOUNG adults were treated to free music, food and games at a Blue Leaf Initiative social event last week.
Black Diamond Lodge hosted the evening, with the music provided by Kate Hindle.
Blue Leaf co-ordinator Bec McLevie said it has been pleasing to see new faces at the initiative’s recent series of events in Collie.
“We’ve been averaging around eight people per event,” Ms McLevie said.
“Each event we’ve had at least one new person.”
Blue Leaf will host a barbeque in December and a games night in January.
Beyond that, the initiative is hopeful of securing additional funding, with the view to staging local events for a further 12 months.
